Hunky Dory 718 9th Street Main Floor, Durham, NC, United StatesThis Sensory Rest Space directly on the parade route offers air-conditioning, lower lighting, a single-stall, ADA-compliant, gender-neutral restroom. There will be music playing in this space – this is an indoor sensory rest space only. Masks are encouraged.

This second-floor spacious indoor hideaway may be ideal for parade goers who may want an air-conditioned rest area with art activities and a dedicated individual Quiet Room.

Accessible Rest Space at Branches Community School
Branches will be hosting its Annual Pride Party from 10am - 2pm. The Pride: Durham, NC Parade typically passes Branches around 12:30pm.

Post-Pride Parade Pizza Party

Once the Parade has officially concluded, we're gathering at the EK Powe Playgrounds for Pizza thanks to Pie Pushers, Popcorn thanks to the Principal & PTA, and more PRIDE thanks to the Power of the People! As you're able, feel free to come right over after the Parade, and bring your own chairs & blankets (but not any alcoholic beverages) to this family-friendly, DIY kickback hang.
